Analysis of challenges for blockchain adoption within the Indian public sector: an interpretive structural modelling approach

Purpose Blockchain is one of the most significant emerging technologies that set to transform many aspects industry and society. However, it has several major technical, social, legal, environmental ethical complexities offer challenges for mainstream use within public sector. The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic compelled sector employees work remotely, highlighting a number blockchain adoption Indian context signifying pertinence this research topic in post-pandemic era. This study offers insight researchers policymakers alike on how such are interdependent important subject. Design/methodology/approach We explored 16 unique sets selected from literature gathered data nine experts government settings, healthcare education sectors academia who have knowledge experience implementation their respective organisations. Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) Matriced' Impacts Croise's Multiplication Appliquée UN Classement (MICMAC) provided precise driving, linkage dependent were used formulate framework.
